    Stayed 2 years ago, did not want to leave even though the weather was unseasonably wet and cold. We had to have a fire even though it was June.

    Avoid this place owner is a total racist , would not rent me a cottage unless I traveled 5 hours one way so he could talk to me ,and even then he said no guarantee. Never heard of such a policy in all the years of renting places, wanted work and other places stayed and people references. Would not recommend seems like a total hassle as well as discrimination

    Peter and Dorte were charming and ever helpful to the disorganised english family who turned up at short notice. I think they are large part of the reason for the calm and peaceful atmosphere.

    The views were amazing, the children were being just being children without modern distractions. If watching nothing happen is your thing, this is a magical place.

    We flew to Hamilton with only a hire car booked! We bought towels and things on the way, however had we said that we from the UK, they would have provided most things.

    The accomodation is basic but comfortable and clean with everything that we needed complete with a motorboat. The watersports equipment available was of good quality with safety equipment. Plenty of bikes
